Co-Founder

Donna Tusan is the mother of Joseph and Terrence, whom she lovingly refers to as her two Angels. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Texas in Arlington.

Joseph and Terrence were her pride and joy and Donna’s world was forever changed when she lost them. Through her faith in God and the support of family and friends, she found the courage to persevere. Donna also found comfort in attending the following support groups: Alive Alone (for bereaved parents without any living children); Grief Bridge and Compassionate Friends of Fort Worth. She served as Chapter Leader for 2 years with Compassionate Friends.

Donna is extremely proud of this foundation, because it has been able to make a difference in the lives of students pursuing their educational goals. It is Donna’s hope that these young people will be successful in achieving their life goals and live the lives that her sons were not able to.
