Mentoring/Coaching 

Since 2010, the foundation has networked with recreation centers in the D.C. and Maryland metropolitan area. The foundation has worked with Mr. Sunny Hicks, Director of the Ridge Road Recreation Center, located at 800 Ridge Rd. SE Ward 7 Washington, D.C. 20019, in the operation of a mentoring program called “Boys 2 Men”. The program operated from January 5, 2009 to August 26, 2011. The foundation’s future plan is to revamp the “Boys 2 Men” program in 2021.

In 2011, the foundation began networking and volunteering with the ABC Park and Recreation Center in the West-side area of Baltimore City. In both the Maryland and DC locations, the Joseph and Terrence Tusan Foundation provided support to volunteers to sustain their youth programs and has contributed to the purchase of football equipment and trophies for athletic accomplishments of youth involved in various sports activities. We remain committed to networking with organizations that are dedicated to impacting the lives of our youth.
