ABOUT US

The Joseph and Terrence Tusan Foundation  (JT2F) is an organization that was established in memory of the sons of Kevin and Donna Tusan. In 2004, Joseph was a Freshman football player at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma, when he was killed in a racial hate crime six weeks after beginning his matriculation. Tragedy struck again on December 21, 2014, when their second son, Terrence, was killed in Denton, Texas while home from Howard University on Christmas break. He was expected to graduate in May of 2015.

The foundation advocates scholastic  achievement by providing scholarships to deserving students that are enrolling in undergraduate and graduate programs. Over the past years, our small foundation has assisted a number of recipients.

The JT2F believes our youth should have balance in their lives through the involvement in extra- curricular activities, whether by means of sports, volunteering or mentoring. Additionally, we network with other organizations that provide mentoring and tutoring services to youth to further support this goal. The foundation recognizes the importance of preparing our youth to become responsible citizens of this country and to have a positive impact in the world.
